The Brighton Town Board, in an effort to enhance, improve and expand the level of recreational services and programs, park facilities and general services to enhance the quality-of-life for residents, established a Citizens' Board to provide a formal mechanism for the collection and organization of citizen input.
The role of the nine-member Citizens' Board is to provide the Town Board with the best information possible on which to make a decision. The Citizens' Board functions as unpaid staff, and does the research and analysis necessary to provide a recommendation to the Town Board.
The Town Board appoints Citizens' Advisory Board members for three-year terms.
Meetings are the last Monday of every month beginning at 4:30 pm. All meetings are held at the Brookside Recreation Center located at 220 Idlewood Road.
