Cable Commission
About the Cable Commission
The Brighton Cable Commission monitors adherence to the Cable Television Franchise Agreement with Time Warner Cable and oversees local programming for the cable television channels operated by the Town of Brighton under the Franchise Agreement.

The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Town Board for all matters concerning cable television service. The Commission also serves as an advocate for Brighton residents for matters involving cable television service.

The Commission consists of seven members appointed by the town board for three year terms and is staffed by the Director of Communications.

Any Brighton resident who is interested in promoting the purposes and goals of this commission is eligible for membership. Members of the Brighton Cable Commission are appointed by the Town Board.
