Town Attorney

About the Town Attorney
The Town Attorney is legal counsel to the Town Board and the
Historic Preservation Commission. Duties include responsibility
for the draft and review of all legislation adopted by the Town Board
and for other legislative orders and resolutions adopted by the Town Board. The Town Attorney is also responsible for contract review, certain personnel issues, and a variety of other matters for the Town.

Deputy Town Attorney
David Dollinger is the Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Brighton. His responsibilities include:
  • Legal Council for the Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Legal Council for the Planning Board
  • Town Code enforcement for the Town Court
